Reactive and tabular alumina
Tabular alumina contributes to the thermal shock and corrosion resistance of a refractory product. Calcined and reactive alumina optimise the particle size distribution and increase the refractoriness of the product.
The use of aluminium oxide (Al2O3) adds mechanical strength as well as abrasion resistance to the final product.

Qualities: Tabular alumina: Dense, sintered crystalline alpha alumina containing 99.5% Al2O3; high purity and chemical resistance. Reactive aluminas: Mono- and bi-modal alpha alumina with a particle size D50.
