These include unusual grain sizes, tight moisture tolerances, or special degrees of purity. In such cases, we draw on our network, laboratories, and the experience of our application engineers.
Much of the work is done long before the first delivery. We plan capacities, select transport routes, and manage inventories. Factors such as the Chinese New Year, port congestion, low water levels on the Rhine, or seasonal truck restrictions are taken into account in our planning.
We draw up test plans, organize samples, track approvals, and clarify all relevant parameters. The batches are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis. On request, we audit producers together with our customers to ensure processes from origin to delivery. Whether bulk, big bags, or silo goods, whether rail, inland waterway, or truck: we always choose the logistical setup that suits the material and the plant. Issues such as Incoterms, customs clearance, proofs of origin, packaging, and load securing are standard for us. For sensitive products, we create suitable storage conditions to reliably control factors such as temperature, humidity, or contamination.
